Yoga Club’s Yoga Alliance Registered 500 hour teacher training program is uniquely designed to provide you with the depth of knowledge necessary to further your skills as a yoga instructor, while also allowing you the flexibility to tailor your training towards your specific advanced education desires. As such we'll offer many weekend teacher trainings, each applicable towards your 500 hour certification, allowing you to select those that best fit your goals as a yoga instructor. Weekend trainings will each be taught by many of the regions best instructors, each teaching within their respective area of expertise. We'll also include weekend workshops with national instructors such as Bryan Kest. Below is a list of weekends currently included in the program. Choose Six Weekend Immersions from Among the Following "Primary" Weekends:
Restorative Yoga ~ Restore, Renew and Rebalance. Learn to Correct Physical & Emotional Imbalances with Chrys Kub E-RYT 500 Anusara® Yoga Immersion ~ Principles, Methodology, and the Philosophical Vision of Anusara with Dara Brown E-RYT 200, RYT 500, Certified Anusara. Ashtanga Immersion ~ Exploring the Fundamentals. Building The Foundation. Understanding Breath, Bandas & Pranayama. Practice of both the Primary Intermediate Series of Ashtanga with Johnna Smith E-RYT 500, Ashtanga Certified with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Yoga As Holistic Healing for Medical Conditions ~ Therapeutics for Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Prosthetics & more with Chrys Kub E-RYT 500 and full time Physical & Yoga Therapist. The Art of Assisting ~ Explore Yoga Philosophy and the Principles of Assisting. Learn to Provide Safe, Effective, and Fun Hands-On Adjustments to Enhance Your Students Yoga Experience with Confidence. Explore arm balancing and inversions and safe assists with Johnna Smith E-RYT 500. Various Ways to Approach Vinyasa Flow ~ Explore many of the various ways to approach vinyasa flow yoga linking breath to movement. Delve deeply into both the asana and philosophy of two of the most popular styles of Vinyasa flow yoga including Baptiste Power Yoga and Rod Stryker's Para Yoga with Johnna Smith E-RYT 500 Certified Baron Baptiste and Para Yoga Instructor. Intelligent Sequencing ~ Learn how to intuitively create an organic, transformative, multi-dimensional yoga flow. Learn new and creative ways to sequence a flow while moving towards an intelligent peak asana ending with deep and satisfying restoration with Chrys Kub E-RYT 500, Physical Therapist. **Please note that in order to meet Yoga Alliance requirements a certain number of hours must be taken with those designated by us as "primary" instructors and we are limited in the number of instructors we can designate as primary. As such each of the above weekends are hosted by primary instructors and students must participate in a minimum number of these workshops in order to meet Yoga Alliance requirements. However, you may choose from these workshops as you would like.....yogis choice! We'll also continue to add weekend options in both the "choose six from among" category and the fully optional weekend categories to provide even greater flexibility in allowing you to tailor your training to your needs. "Optional" Weekends Immersions ~ Choose an additional five to six weekends from among the following in order to reach the total number of hours required of 300. The descriptions and link below detail in full the number of hours each weekend will provide.
"Not just your average teacher training program!" TMHow will This Program Be Structured and How Much Will It Cost? How will this program be structured? Yoga Club's 500 Hour Teacher Training Program is designed to allow you to tailor your training to best fit your advanced education goals by allowing you to select from among many specific weekend trainings those that best suit the needs of you and your client base. As such we've broken the weekends offerings into two categories labeled "primary" and "optional." Participants must complete six of the weekend trainings from within the category labeled "primary." All other weekends may be selected from within either category. We'll continue to add weekend trainings to both categories throughout the year to further increase the variety of options. As such you can choose that which best serves you in your future endeavors....yogis choice! We've listed the hours achieved by each weekend and the price for each weekend. In general, in order to achieve your 500 Hour Certification, you will need to take 11 of the weekend trainings. The majority of the weekend trainings will be Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday with a few exceptions (clearly detailed on the listings). All weekend trainings are also eligible CEC's. How much will the program cost? Based on the weekends we've included in the program the cost can range from $3,100 to $3,300 depending on which weekends you select for inclusion in your 500 Hour Program. To participate in the 500 Hour Program please complete the application below and provide your application fee of $275 (funds applied towards full tuition). Once your application is accepted please provide a deposit of $1,375 at least 30 days prior to your first weekend training (funds applied towards full tuition). The funds paid towards the application fee and deposit will cover the cost of six of the weekend trainings offering 26.75 hours. The remainder of your payments for weekend trainings may be paid by the weekend at either the early tuition or regular tuition rate. Participants must complete all 500 hours of training within 3 years of the earlier of acceptance of application or the first weekend of participation in the 500 hour program. For those participating in the program for CEC's only please pay by the weekend at either the early or regular tuition rate. * Yoga Club is registered as both a 200 Hour and 500 Hour Yoga School. ** Denotes weekend trainings with odd hours. The majority of the weekend trainings are 24 hours or two and half days and provide 26.75 hours towards your 500 Hour Training or CEC's. We've highlighted those weekend trainings which provide more or less hours that the majority of the weekend trainings. *** Certain Dates are Subject to Change as New Workshops are Added. Each Workshop Must have a Minimum of Ten Registrants, Otherwise Workshop may be Subject to Postponement or Cancelation. |
